WheBond RDP-H818 is a specialty redispersible polymer powder engineered for cementitious and gypsum-based dry-mix systems that require enhanced hydrophobicity and moisture resistance, in addition to improved mechanical performance and adhesion. It is formulated on a vinyl acetate–ethylene (VAc/E) copolymer platform with tailored surface properties that contribute to reduced capillary water uptake and improved resistance to moisture penetration when compared to standard RDP grades. This grade enables enhanced performance in applications exposed to wet environments, splash zones, or frequent moisture cycling while retaining stable processing behavior, good workability, and cohesion in the fresh mortar.
