RDP - N816

WheBond RDP-N816 is a high-performance redispersible polymer powder based on a vinyl acetate–ethylene (VAc/E) copolymer designed for demanding dry-mix mortar systems. It significantly enhances adhesion, flexibility, crack resistance, and mechanical durability in polymer-modified cementitious and gypsum-based formulations. With a relatively high ethylene content, RDP-N816 forms a soft, flexible polymer film upon redispersion and drying, contributing to improved tensile adhesion and deformation capacity while maintaining good workability and cohesion. This makes it especially suitable for flexible repair mortars, flexible skim coats, and advanced wall putty systems where structural performance and long-term durability are essential.
